SAUMON/ Canadian Salmon Pie
(pronounced: tour-tee-air oh soh-mohn, the 'n' in 'mohn' is almost silent.)

potatoes and onions in a small amount of water. Drain and reserve liquid.
Add 4 tablespoons butter and seasoning. Mash vegetables. Add salmon and
mash until light, adding liquid if mixture seems too heavy. Place mixture
in an 8-inch or 9-inch pie crust. Dot with remaining butter. Cover with
top crust and seal edges. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 30 minutes or until
the crust is golden.
To be eaten hot or freeze for future meal. Excellent reheated. Try putting cheese in one pie, delicious, or serve with white sauce to which 2 cups of peas have been added. Makes 2 pies.
