The recurring theme in
this song is, 'Beautiful Louisiana, I sing my heart for you'. In the first
verse, it mentions Louisiana as the land of the 'Cadiens, so rich and so
generous'. '...Beautiful Louisiana, open your arms and hug your dear child'.
In the second verse... "I love your bayous, your prairies and your forests
and the waves at the edges of your good earth... I love your farmers who
work so hard and who are so welcoming." The final verses..."Regardless
